Boy Scout Merit Badge Day Camp

For the 5th year, we are excited to offer this fun program for our Boy Scouts! Scouts will learn from local professionals to earn the following merit badges. You can choose to take all 5 or just few.

Cost: $20 per class, Scouts must bring their lunch each day

 

Monday, June 19th: Railroading Merit Badge

Location: Grifin Scout Service Center, 1361 Zebulon Rd, Griffin, GA 30224

Time: 9:00am- 2:00pm

Tuesday, June 20th: Law Merit Badge

Location: Griffin Scout Service Center, 1361 Zebulon Rd, Griffin, GA 30224

Time: 9:00am- 2:00pm

Wednesday, June 21st: Radio Merit Badge

Location: Coweta County Emergency Services, 195 International Park, Newnan, GA 30265

Time: 9:00am- 2:00pm

Thursday, June 22nd: Genealogy Merit Badge

Location: Grifin Scout Service Center, 1361 Zebulon Rd, Griffin, GA 30224

Time: 9:00am- 2:00pm

Friday, June 23rd: Aviation Merit Badge

Location: Delta Training Center, 980 Virginia Ave, Atlanta. 

Time: 9:00-am-2:00pm

Merit Badge Prerequisites

Railroading: None

Law: None

Radio: None

Genealogy: #2. Complete one item from requirement.

                      #3 Interview a family member for the family tree.

                     #4b. Bring a document with that will support an event that is recorded in your family tree

                     #6. Start your family tree (you will finish in class)

                     #7. Complete one family record before class (preferably about one parent)
