Holiday Hours for Council Scout Service Center & Scout Shop
The Flint River Council Service Center will be closed November 22-24, 2023 and the Scout Shop will be closed November 23-24, 2023. Click the link above for more holiday closing information.
Effective August 1, 2023: Membership Changes and Fee Increase
New fees go into effect August 1, 2023. Pro-rated fees end on July 31, 2023. Be informed! Click the link above and read the entire document to get all the latest information. At Flint River Council, there is an additional fee of $5/year for insurance.
Scouting's Barrier to Abuse - Revised
New BSA Rules Effective - September 1, 2023. The Boy Scouts of America have revised and updated the Adult Supervision Requirements effective September 1, 2023. Units need to start planning now for how they will comply with these new requirements. The Flint River Council will be working on policies & procedures at our Camps and Events that will help confirm that these new Adult Supervision Rules are being complied with at all activities.
