What is SWAT? Scouts at work with Special Work and Tools!

We have made a lot of progress at the Gerald I Lawhorn Scouting Base, but we need you!

The Lawhorn Scouting Base is 2400 Acres! Please come out and help us preserve our beautiful camp. 

Enjoy a weekend of camping for all of your hard work! Please register so that we know who is attending! 

Ranger Chuck is in need of tools for everyone! Please see his list above!

This weekend we will be doing the following projects:

Cleanup of the Campsites on the Camp Thunder side of Camp. (remove limbs and rocks and repair fire rings)

Platforms for tents need to be pressure washed along with the repairs to the tents.

Limbs hanging on tents need to be cut off.

Replacement of damaged wood on tents.

Repair rips in tents

Walking Bridges need to be cleaned and repaired.

What to bring: Work clothes (no uniforms),work gloves and water bottles
