Our 75th Summer in 2012!
Camp Thunder is the traditional Boy Scout resident camp at the Lawhorn Scouting Base. The camp operates 6 sessions beginning June 3, 2012.

Week 1: June 3-9 (73% full--less than 120 spaces available)
Week 2: June 10-16 (95% full--limited space available - call for availability)
Week 3: June 17-23 (90% full--limited space available - call for availability)
Week 4: June 24-30 (92% full--limited space available - call for availability)
Week 5: July 1-7 (31% full-- space available)
Week 6: July 8-14 (68% full--less than 150 spaces available)

Camp Thunder highlights more than 60 merit badges, our Buckskin first-year camper program, and the Pathfinder outdoor adventure for 2nd-year campers. Plus, Camp Thunder gives Scouts access to the southeast's oldest high adventure base: COPE, climbing, the Flint River Challenge, River Rat Adventures, 50-Miler Treks, and the famous Mountain Man pioneer experience. Plus, every troop that comes to Camp Thunder receives a free 1/2 day adventure program. Camp Thunder offers all-inclusive pricing and never charges extra fees for classes!
Troops & Crews can also choose our EaglePoint Subcamp, that includes all Camp Thunder programming but camping in our high adventure base!
