Council News

  • Holiday Hours for Council Scout Service Center & Scout Shop
    Holiday Hours The Flint River Council Service Center and Camp will be closed June 30-July 4. The Flint River Scout Shop will be closed Friday, July 4th, 2025 in observance of Independence Day. emorial Day. Normal business hours will resume on Monday, July 7, 2025.
  • Youth Protection Training has been replaced with Safeguarding Youth Training
    Effective immediately, Youth Protection Training has been replaced with Safegaurding Youth Training (SYT). The first time taking this course will take approximately 90 minutes. All leaders will be required to take a "refresher" course annually which should only take 15-20 minutes. Click the link above for more information.
