Climbing/Rappelling Instructor Training

March 22 - 24

Training for Eagle Mountain, the Carolina Tower and Dripping Rock operations as well as learning Climb-on-Safely procedures, which will enable you to conduct unit climbing/rappelling events.

Times:              Friday – Registration from 5:00 – 7:00 pm

                         Friday night session from 7:00 – 10:00 pm

                         Saturday – Sessions all day

                         Sunday – Sessions end at 5:00 pm

Cost:                 $60.00 (includes camping fees, printed materials and instruction, and meals)

Deadline:           Registration due 2 weeks prior to event.

Qualifications:   Open to individuals age 16 and older

All meals on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday will be provided.

Note:  Each participant will need to fill out the BSA Health & Medical Form, Parts A, B & C and turn in at time of arrival for the training.  This form can be found here.

Also, each participant will need to complete the Climb on Safely training online before attending this training and present the completion certificate upon arrival Friday evening.&n>

Must have a minimum of 8 people in order to conduct the course.
