On the western side of Gerald I. Lawhorn Scouting Base is the majestic Flint River which runs for three and a half miles along our western boundary. Come for a lazy float trip on the river where we have the equipment, transportation, and experience for a most memorable and fun trip. |

Who: Church groups, Schools, Businesses, Youth groups, Scouts groups. Ages 11-18 Years and adults. Adult to Scout Ratio: 1 Adult for every 10 Scouts; 2 Adults miminum Program Features: Camping, caving in 2 different caves, Council approved instructors, all necessary equipment provided. What to Bring: Extra Clothing, Swim Suit, Rain Gear, Shoes (for river travel), Current Health Form (Class III), Towel, Clean-up Kit, Sunscreen.
