Flint River Council offers a new sailing program for all Boy Scouts and Venturers. From the first timer to a seasoned veteran we have a program that will fit your group. The Lawhorn Scout Base sailing program in centered around sailing on the lakes at Thunder Scout Reservation, Still Branch Reservoir and Lake West Point. The Lawhorn Scout Base will arrange an outing with our trained local instructors for all interested Scouts and Scouters for a day, weekend or a week. |

When: This is a year round program. Who: Boy Scouts and Venturers Our Goal: To provide every participant with a unique learning experience that will help develop an appreciation for sailing, environmental awareness, self confidence, and fun. We accomplish this goal by using the outdoor lake environment as a natural classroom, a developed and unique program, trained and friendly staff, and once in a lifetime opportunities for you to experience.Length of Time : Day trip, Weekend trip or Week-long trip.
