Join the Gerald I. Lawhorn Scouting Base Staff for a great weekend learning the skills of kayaking on the waters of Lake Ini-To and the Flint River. Your adventure will begin with kayak instruction and technique at Camp Thunders' Lake Ini-To. Learn the skills of maneuvering this craft as well as performing successful "Eskimo rolls." The next day will find you utilizing these skills on the whitewater rapids of the beautiful Flint River. Call now to reserve your spot for a fun-filled weekend!

Where: Gerald I. Lawhorn Scouting Base

When: This is a year round program and the dates are set when a unit calls in to make the reservations for themselves.

Who: Any registered scout or Scouter, age 13 years as of January of current year or completed the seventh grade

Cost: $125.00 per person. *Fee includes 2 nights camping, 3 meals on Saturday, 2 meals on Sunday, equipment usage, transportation, and instruction.
