LAWHORN 2016 BEAVER DAYS!

Beaver days are set for 2016, so mark your calendars and join us at Lawhorn Scouting Base to give back to YOUR camp!  We have so many projects that need to be done year round, so your help is always needed and welcome! 

There will be projects for all ages and skill levels. Rain or shine! Here are just some of the projects:  

• paint the exterior of buildings

• cut up and remove downed trees (firewood!)

• trim bushes and trees

• pressure wash pavilions

• dig out ashes and fix rocks in campsite fire pits

• patch and waterproof tents

• patch bottoms and fix seats on canoes

  So, grab your work clothes, tools, kids, friends, acquaintances, neighbors, lunch and water bottles and go to www.FlintRiverCouncil.org and click on any of the Beaver Day entries on the calendar to register and let us know you’re coming (so we can have tools and the right amount of food for lunch ready to go!), and we’ll all get together for exciting days of sprucing up our camp!
