Who: Cub Scouts entering the First through Fifth Grades in the fall. Cost: Cost per Cub Scout is $80.00 if paid on or before May 9. Fee after May 9 is $90.00. 1 Leader must attend with every 5 Cub Scouts. Any adult who volunteers to assist with Cub Scout Day Camp for the full week may send his/her son to camp at a $25 discount, to be refunded by the council after day camp closes . Your pack is required to send 1 Adult for every 4 Tiger Cubs (First Graders in the fall of 2008) that attend Day Camp. The Flint River Council is testing this new program for the National Boy Scouts of America. Adults may rotate throughout the week to meet this requirement. For families with more than one Camper, a $10 discount will be given to each Scout after the first Scout. Fees for Cub Scout include program supplies, materials, patch and t-shirt. Applications: All money and applications are to be turned in to your Pack Day Camp Representative. Please do not send individual applications to the Council Service Center. Health History: All participants (Cub Scouts, Volunteers and tots) must have a completed health history form. This applies no matter how many days you spend at Day Camp. What to Wear: Shorts or cool pants. Scouts will receive a camp t-shirt. Shoes must be worn at all times. No Sandals! Put the name of your Scout on all articles worn or sent to camp. Lunch: Campers should bring a sack lunch, sunscreen, bug spray and water bottle - all marked with the Cub Scout's name. The Day Camp staff will provide water but campers may bring other drinks. Cub Scout Day Camps are offered throughout the summer in various geographical areas of the council. This program, which runs Monday through Friday, offers a fun-filled week of challenging Cub Scout activities, exciting adventrues and new friendships. If you will be in the 1st - 5th grade in the fall of 2008, join us this year as a Pirate of the Flint River!
