Climbing

If climbing is your interest, test your skills scaling a natural 45 foot vertical climb at Dripping Rock on Thunder Scout Reservation. Test your abilities on our 60 foot, one of 4 different chimney climbs, or our Carolina tower in Eagle Mountain’s climbing and rappelling center. Top off your day with a 450 foot zip line or take a whirl on our Giant Swing.

If your group needs more of a challenge travel with us to some of the best bouldering sites as described in Climbing Magazine. Top off the trip with a climbing venue with the some of the best scenery down on the Hiawassee River. The Thunder Scout Reservation Staff offers trips from the beginner to the pro. We can provide you with a day long adventure or a multi-day program including a challenging program to satisfy the needs of any climbing enthusiast.
