2010 2nd Annual Membership Recruitment Team

Calling all youth and adults!!!  The Flint River Council and your community need your help.  Are you having a great time in Scouting as a youth or an adult?  If you answered yes to this question, then why not recruit more Scouts and adults to our program?

The Flint River Council is proud to announce the return of the peer to peer recruiting program.  This program is not only for youth but adults as well.  The mission of the Flint River Council is, “To provide a quality, dynamic program of learning and adventure that builds well-rounded young people and to instill in young people the principles of integrity, character, responsibility and leadership, preparing them to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes.”   With your help, we can deliver this promise to more youth and adults in the communities the council serves.

To participate in the recruiting program is easy!  CLICK HERE and sign up.  By signing up you will agree to the following “terms”:

Youth

  • Commit to hand out 10 scouting “business cards” initiations to your friends (cards will be provided by the council office).
  • Commit to wear your uniform shirt on the day of the evening Scout sign-up at the school.
  • Commit to “do your best” to bring a friend to the school sign-up night at your school.

Adults

  • Commit to talk to your neighbors and co-workers about Scouting and the coming Scout sign-ups.
  • Commit to email your business contacts and friends about the recruiting drive.
  • Commit to hand out 10 scouting “business cards” initiations to your adult friends and youth in the community (cards will be provided by the council office).

    The purpose of this program is to recruit not only youth but adult leaders as well.  In return for your commitment to the program, you will receive one (1) special council shoulder strip free (pictured).  This strip will commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Scouting by ghosting the “100” in the current CSP

    Once you sign-up, you will be mailed your business cards and your one of a kind council shoulder strip by the first of August, but we will expect you to “do your best” to meet the “terms” of the agreement listed above.  This offer is limited to the first 500 people that sign up.
