Cub Scouts have many different opportunities for outdoor adventure. Below are upcoming activities and events that are held at Lawhorn Scouting Base.  Many activities await you and your Scouts in the outdoors.  Everything from the thrill of experiencing the natural beauty to earning patches and advancement.

2011 Cub Scout Fall Camping Guide

Spookoree

October 7-9 
October 14-16 
October 21-23 
All Cub Scout families are invited to join us for the annual Spookoree.  Choose one of the three weekends.  Spookoree starts off with a family movie night on Friday.  Saturday begins with pumpkin painting and decorating for Tigers and Wolves or pumpkin carving for Bears and Webelos.  Other activities will include the cookie grab, BBs and archery, trick-or-treating, and a haunted trail for the older boys.  And, don't forget our special scary campfire.  Bring your costume and be ready for a fun-filled scary weekend at Lawhorn!  Register online by clicking on the date you want to attend, or download the Spookoree flyer here.

Fall Fun Weekend

November 18-20, 2011 
Join us for a weekend of fun and excitement at Lawhorn!  Starting with a family movie on Friday night, other activities for the weekend will include BBs and archery, canoeing, wrist rockets, and field games.  Plus, we will have our famous Fall Festival complete with a hay ride and carnvial games!  Top it all off with a campfire and night hike.  Register here!
