At the Flint River Adventure Area

EaglePoint is an adventure-focused subcamp of Camp Thunder.  Troops and Crews that come to summer camp have the opportunity to camp, eat, and play in the Flint River Adventure Area, but still enjoy the high quality programs at Camp Thunder.

CAMPING:  Troops and Crews choose from any of the amazing campsites in the Flint River Adventure Area, using their choice of the 2-person BSA tents or the 4-person Flint River tents.

EATING:  Eat breakfast and dinner in the Flint River Adventure Area.  Choose to eat lunch in the adventure area or enjoy a sack lunch in one of the pavilions at Camp Thunder.

PROGRAM:  Scouts and Venturers can take advantage of all the programs, merit badge classes, and activities at Camp Thunder.  Some unique evening activities that are only available to EaglePoint groups will be scheduled that include climbing, COPE, and night zip lines.

TRANSPORTATION:  Periodic camp shuttle is available, but Troops and Crews should rely primarily on their own transportation between the Flint River Adventure Area and Camp Thunder (2 miles).

RESERVATION DEPOSIT:  $250 per unit, counted toward fees payment

CAMP FEES:  The camp fee includes campsite and beds with mattresses, toilet and shower facilities, seventeern meals, program supplies and activities (excluding handicraft kits), and the Thunder Experience.  Camp Thunder and EaglePoint follow an all-inclusive fee structure!  No extra fees for traditional classes!

 Youth  $205    Flint River Council Scouts are eligible for a $25 discount.
 Adults  2 free per unit, $105 each for additional.
